Principal's Update

And tha's a wrap to the 2023-2024 school year!

In my newsletter last week, I mentioned that I would be sending one more communication home to share the results of our Stakeholder Survey. Below you will find that information. One of the areas we want to improve is with our communication. Both teachers and office staff would like any feedback you'd like to provide on how we can communicate those things that we may be missing. Here is the link to the short feedback form. We will look at the feedback when we return to school in August and create action steps toward improvements.

Again, thank you for your parnership and enjoy the summer! We are preparing for and looking forward to the 2024-2025 school year!

We are SO LUCKY to have 6 amazing supervisors. At our All School Meeting yesterday, we recognized them and thanked them for all they do to for our students and staff. They are THE BEST!

On Thursday, May 30th, our Kindergarten students had their graduation ceremony. Congratulations to our new Redtail Ridge 1st graders!!

On Firday, May 31st, our 5th grade students had their graduation ceremony. The are looking forward to Middle School. They are READY!

On Thursday, May 30th, our Savage Fire Department came to celebrate Water Day with our 5th grade students. Thank you to John Borrows, a parent and a Savage Firefighter, for coordinating this! They had so much fun and it will be a memory they have of Redtail Ridge!

A huge THANK YOU to our PTC who organized a fabulous evening! I'd like to thank the following PTC members for all of the behind the scenes work that was done for this event AND during the event: Jen Anderson (President), Tricia Hubley, Heather McLane, Chelsea Tollefson, Cortney Dederich, Erin Richter and Brandi Kadier (AND their husbands/significant others)! Without you, these events would not happen.

Thank you to those who also signed up to volunteer. You are appreciated!

Mia Wachter and Collin Riddley, two 5th grade students were recognized by the Prior Lake-Savage Optimist Club. These two 5th grade students were recognized for their their devotion to the welfare of others through their service to fellow students, school, community, city or others. The banquet was held on Wednesday, May 8th.
