Expanded Access for Children-Summer SNAP
Summer EBT is based on USDA's Summer EBT for Children demonstration projects and Pandemic EBT, which have been proven to reduce child hunger and improve diet quality.
Summer EBT benefits will come in the form of pre-loaded cards that families can use to purchase groceries. Beginning in summer 2024, families will receive $40 per eligible child, per month. These benefits work together with other available FNS nutrition assistance programs, such as summer meal sites, SNAP, and WIC, to help ensure kids have consistent access to critical nutrition when school is out.
For more information about the traditional Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) visit the SFSP program page.

General Info
Does your child need boots?
If your child or siblings need a pair of rain/winter boots please reach out to your Family Service Worker or Community Agent. Our program received a donation of several pairs of boots and we would like to get them to families who need them!
Extra Clothes Needed!
We need extra clothing for children to keep at our sites in case of accidents. If you have any clothing your children have outgrown please consider donating to your site so that all kids can have a change of clothes when needed. Also, if your child uses their change of clothing don't forget to wash and bring it back to school! Connect with your Family Service Worker or Community Agent if you would like to donate!
