CDE California Dashboard
Exciting News for our Math and English Departments!
Yesterday, the CDE dashboard was released to the public, and these results show our current results and whether the results improved from the prior year. We are ecstatic about this growth, and it further demonstrates our hard work as a staff to continue our Instructional Focus and school-wide goals. Just take a moment to join us in celebrating this journey as we grow. We are truly leading the charge; only a handful of schools can boast such impressive improvements. Congratulations to our excellent teachers and staff for your tireless dedication and hard work! Also, thank you to our Longhorn families, partners, and alums for continuing to support the work at The Ranch.
Instructional Focus: Increase student ability to Read, Write, and Speak Grounded in Evidence

Goal #2B: An increase in the achievement of English Learners, Special Education, Homeless, and Foster Youth toward meeting standards and becoming successful Longhorn Graduates as measured by the California Dashboard, growth in graduation rate, and other indicators.
Goal #3A: In order to advance equity, continue to provide Multi-Tiered Systems of Support including the implementation of the Respect the Ranch focus for all students, as well as Tier 2 and 3 supports when appropriate.
Goal #3B: Expand the implementation of Respect the Ranch (Responsibility, Integrity, Commitment) beyond our student body and staff as we continue to empower our community of parents, alumni, and partners with the resources that will prepare all Longhorns to be college and career ready.

Sport Request Form
Are you looking for a sport but do not see it on our website? The form below is to request the school to look into offering new CIF sports on campus.
Sport Request
Dear RBV Families and Community,
We’re excited to announce a new initiative to strengthen collaboration and dialogue between our students, families, and athletic program. Beginning this school year, we’re introducing a Sport Request Form designed to give students and community members the opportunity to express interest in adding new sports to our school’s athletic offerings. This form allows us to gather valuable insights, gauge interest, and better understand the needs and wishes of our community when it comes to expanding athletic opportunities.
While we are committed to exploring each request thoughtfully, please know that there are various factors that affect our ability to implement new sports, including resources, staffing, and facility availability. Even so, your input is essential as it helps us make informed decisions and better align our programs with the interests and passions of our students.
The Sport Request Form is available on our website at www.rbvathletics.com, and we welcome submissions throughout the year.
Thank you for being an essential part of our school community and for helping us continue to foster a dynamic and inclusive athletic environment for our students.
We are seeing an increase in students riding electric bikes to school. We have a new parking area for the bikes and students have been doing great with using our new procedures. We have a few resources to share regarding bike safety as well as a link to the required bike safety course students must attend to obtain a parking permit for their bikes.
