Hello Ridgewood Families!

Happy Friday!

This week we celebrated the graduating Seniors that are RMS alumni! They will walked the halls and were celebrated for their great accomplishment! See some photos below.

Today we had a blast with our MAP Inflatables for all the kids hard work during the MAP testing.

RMS Archery Team had a great time at Nationals last weekend! They ranked 18th in the country out of 267 middle school teams! See more stats below on their wonderful season!

Congrats to Isabella Moreton who is now an officially published artist! Isabella's artwork was selected to be included in The Missouri Art Education Association (MAEA) Show Me Art Coloring Book; 4th edition!

Thanks to Mrs. Steinkamp for participating in the program to help Isabella become selected!

Last Day of School - 5/24

The last day of school is quickly approaching! It is Friday, May 24th and will be a half day for students. Students will be dismissed at 12 noon that day!

8th grade Chromebook Collection May 21st

All 8th graders are turning in their chromebooks before leaving RMS. They will receive a new Chromebook at the beginning of their Freshman year at Fox High School. Collection will occur on Tuesday, May 21st during their Social Studies classes. Please make sure to check your 8th grade students' chromebook cases for markings and stickers. Please make sure to send in their Chromebook chargers as well on that day. Students MUST clean their chromebooks prior to collection day on May 21st. Please have students take the time to pick off stickers and wipe down cases and keyboards BEFORE May 21st.

6th and 7th grade students will keep their Chromebooks over the summer.

RMS Archery at Nationals

The RMS archery team had a great time at Eastern Nationals last weekend! Here are some highlights from Nationals and the season as a whole:

Grace Novotny was randomly selected as 1 of 100 archers to receive a $500 scholarship out of the 14,494 archers who participated at Eastern Nationals.

All 24 archers received Academic Archer status based on academic performance during the season.

Statistics based on the NASP website as of 5/13/24:

RMS ranks 3rd out of the 16 Missouri middle school teams that participated at Eastern Nationals.

RMS ranks 18th out of 267 total middle school teams that participated at Eastern Nationals.

RMS ranks overall national 23rd out of 312 middle school teams.
