Greetings IGNITE Family,
We are excited for another week of teaching and learning at THE IGNITE Middle School!
MONDAY, 2/19/2024, is a student holiday. There will be no school for scholars.
We had a great turnout for our Family Night! Parents and families, thank you so much for coming to this event to learn how we can better support our scholars. We enjoyed good food, good information and a good movie! Thank you to our wonderful PTSA team for organizing this event.
We are so very proud of our scholars and want to continue to encourage them to do great things. Next week we will begin TELPAS testing. We want to ensure that our scholars do their very best so we ask that they get a good night of sleep and healthy breakfast. Attendance matters! It is essential that all scholars are present. We want to make sure that we individualize opportunities for each scholar to meet their needs specifically, so that they are successful.
Parents, please be reminded that our doors open at 8:05 and school starts at 8:35. Breakfast is not available after 8:35am. Parents we need your help with getting scholars to school on time. After 8:35 we will require parents to come and sign their scholars in with the front office. As the weather changes, we want to ensure the safety of our scholars. We will open the doors as early as 7:35 on days that is is raining and/or days that temperatures are really low.
As we embark on this journey towards academic success, it is important that we are all on the same page and are delivering the same message to scholars. We are one family, with one goal. Thank you for trusting us with your most valued possession. Together, we will help our scholars discover their superpowers.
