March Principal Newsletter

Dear Manzo Families,

Students in grades 3rd-5th grade will be taking reading, writing and math/science State Assessments.

Please help us prepare your children for our, State Assessments by:

1. Helping them get a good night sleep...9-10 hours is ideal!
2. Eating a healthy breakfast at home or school.
3. Talking to them about taking their time to answer questions
4. Remind them to use test taking strategies teachers have reviewed with them.
5. ENCOURAGE them... You are their biggest fan and cheer!

Los asesoramientos del estado están por comenzar. Favor de apoyarnos en lo siguiente:

1. Ayude a su hijo(a) a dormir 9-10 horas al acostarlos temprano.
2. Desayunar un platillo saludable en casa/escuela.
3. Aconsejarles que tomen su tiempo contestando preguntas.
4. Recordarles que usen las estrategias que sus maestros les enseñaron.
5. Aliente a su hijo(a) con palabras positivas... Si se puede!

Please encourage your children to attend school regularly!

The winning class will win an Eegees party...

Students need to be accompanied by an adult in order to participate in the math games. All students will be dismissed regularly unless you have communicated with your child's teacher that you will be attending the March MathNess event.

Los alumnos deben de estar acompañados por un adulto para poder asistir al evento. Seguiremos el mismo protocolo a la hora de salida.

Favor comuníquese con el maestro de su hijo(a) para dejarles saber si van a poder asistir al evento.
