A Message from Principal Buchko
Dear MacArthur Families,
What an amazing year we have had, and I can’t believe it is over. We are going to truly miss all of students over the summer. On behalf of our entire team, I hope everyone has a safe and fun summer. I would like to wish our 5th graders the best of luck as they transition to the middle school. I have the utmost confidence that they are going to do great at Wheeler Middle School. We are sending such an amazing group of 5th graders to Wheeler. I hope everyone has a chance to refresh and get ready for the new 2024-2025 school year. I know it might be challenging, but if you can help encourage your child to read over the summer and/or as a family read that will be so beneficial to your child/children.
Later in the summer we will be sending out information about the first day of school and open house, but if you want to mark your calendars, the first day of school will be August 14th and our Open House will be on August 12th.
Have an Amazing Summer.

Parents/Guardians,
With the school year now over, I would like to thank you for continuing to be an active part of your child’s education. In order for a child to succeed academically, they must have positive relationships and support both here at school and at home. For those of you with children moving on to Wheeler next year, I wish your child nothing but success. Thank you for a wonderful school year and have a wonderful summer!
See you next year,
Ms. Bellamy
