PV WEEKLY
WEEK 25 EDITION - 2/24/25-2/28/25
MIDPOINT OF MARKING PERIOD 3
As we approach the midpoint of the third marking period, please remind your child to check Realtime and communicate with their teachers and counselor as necessary. The third marking period closes April 4th.
When we had class meetings in early February, we talked about the importance of staying on top of grades and reaching out to someone when there is some uncertainty. Part of the middle school experience is helping students to advocate for themselves when faced with a challenge. Now is the time for students to communicate with their teacher if assistance is needed with something (not April 4th). As always, our counselors are here to assist families as well. Thank you for your support with this.

AMERICA'S FIELD TRIP CONTEST
Please see the following message from our Social Studies supervisor, Dr. O’Keefe:
In 2026, the US will be celebrating the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. As we look forward to this occasion, students in Grades 3-12 from across the nation are invited to participate in the America's Field Trip Contest. Entrants will submit writing or artwork that answers, ‘What does America mean to you?’ The link contains all contest rules and submissions are due by April 16, 5pm EST. As there are multiple slots for first- and second-place winners, we encourage all eligible students to participate.
