Important Updates

2nd Grade CogAT Results

Parents/Guardians of 2nd grade students, please check your child’s backpack today to view your child’s CogAT results. Results were sent home TODAY with each 2nd grade student in a legal-sized envelope. Please click HERE for more information.

“Friday” Schedule on Wed. April 16

Next Wednesday is the last alternate schedule day of the school year. On Wednesday, April 16th, all specials (PE, Art, Music, STEM, Band, and Orchestra) will run their Friday schedule. Be sure that your student(s) has PE shoes and instruments if the student normally has those on Fridays.

5th Grade Band will practice at 8:00 a.m. on Wed., April 16th.
4th Grade Orchestra will not meet next Wed. morning.

Class Placement Letter

In planning for the upcoming 25-26 school year, parents are invited to provide information that will assist us in the class placement process. Please click HERE for the letter with instructions.

Outside food is not allowed for students

Students are able to bring their lunch each day to school or they can get lunch at school through our food service provider, Organic Life. We do not accept fast food for students at Davis. Please do not drop off or have food sent to Davis for your child. If you would like to have lunch with your child, you can come to the main office and sign them out during their lunch & recess period.

In addition, please do not send your child to school in the morning with breakfast items or beverages other than water bottles. Students may eat the Breakfast offered at school through our food service provider, Organic Life. Any other breakfast or beverage should be consumed at home. Thank you for your cooperation.

Student Council Dance Party

5th Grade Student Council Members are continuing a Richmond Tradition

by hosting a Friday morning Dance Party upon arrival today!!

Davis Students participated in a challenge this week to see which classrooms demonstrated the BEST Hallway behavior. Special Dragon Dollars were distributed to classrooms that were respectful, responsible and safe in the hallways, especially to and from lunch and recess. These classrooms received the most Dragon Dollars for their grade level and celebrated with an extra recess today!

Watch DOGS Needed Friday Afternoons

Dads/male guardians/grandpas/uncles/adult brothers etc. - this is your opportunity to interact with and provide positive male role models for Davis students.
We need 4 volunteers every Friday from 11:15-1:25.

PTO News

Thank you to PTO for the Sunshine!!

Davis PTO Parents did it AGAIN with a special treat this morning for our staff!! The Beach vibes were flowing as the beverage cart distributed refreshing sodas complete with miniature floaties and umbrella straws. The personalized room service - with a smile - made all of our days so much brighter:) We truly appreciate everyone who made this possible, and all that our wonderful PTO families do for our school. THANK YOU!!
