Hello Conroe Tiger Families,
We hope everyone is doing well and staying safe! As you know by now, we will begin the school year on August 12, 2020, with ALL students in Remote/Online Instruction only. We are utilizing our district’s Road Map to Reopening to put a plan together that will meet the needs of our campus and we will communicate that plan to you soon. Here are a few details as we prepare for the 2020-2021 School Year:
1st Day of School - August 12th
We will have a check-in process that we will communicate to you soon. Students will need to sign in by a certain time and complete some information or a task to be counted present on the first day of school. Students that do not complete this process will be counted as a “no show” and may be dropped from the student system. Students that are dropped will need to re-enroll.
Verification of Student Registration
If you have not already done so, please complete the Verification of Student Registration as soon as possible. The process will update email addresses and phone numbers as well as letting us know if your child will be doing virtual learning or on-campus learning. If you have not received the email with the subject: Conroe Independent School District Verification of Student Registration Directions please check your junk/spam folder. If it is not there, send an email to contactchs@conroeisd.net (10-12 grade) and contactchs9@conroeisd.net (9th grade) If NO EMAIL ADDRESS is on file with the district, letters were mailed to the address on file.
Technology Needs
Now that everyone will be on-line the first 3-week, we are working to take care of technology needs. We have limited technology supply, so if you truly need the equipment, please apply. The links below will allow individuals to sign up for technology if they have signed up for on campus learning. If you selected virtual learning or if you plan to select virtual learning, this information will be collected through that system. Please make sure that you submit any request by August 2 so we can work to get technology to your child prior to school.
Freshman Orientation - Fish Camp 2020
Our Freshman Orientation program will be an online experience this year. Our Student Council has been working hard to prepare an interactive experience that is informative, interactive, and fun! This will take place on July 30th. You have the choice of attending the 11 AM Canvas session or the 2 PM Canvas session. If you would like to participate in the interactive activities, please use the link below to register by July 28th. Parking 2020-2021
On-line parking registration will be available on the Conroe High School homepage beginning Monday, August 3rd! If you have any questions about parking please send your questions to contactchs@conroeisd.net and please put PARKING as the subject.
If you did not have the opportunity to watch Dr. Null’s latest update we have included it below. He provided valuable information that may answer a lot of your questions about the upcoming year. We recognize that parents, students, and staff are all concerned but we want you to know we are working hard to make this a safe and positive experience for our students.
