We have many exciting events happening in the next month.

10/23 - PTO Meeting

10/25 - Boogie Bash Dance and Trunk or Treat

Get ready for a spook-tacular time! Join us for our 1st annual Trunk or Treat & Boo Bash on October 25th at 5:30 PM!

We’re looking for creative volunteers to decorate their trunks and make this event extra magical for the Nichols ghouls and goblins . If you’ve got a knack for spooky decor and fun, we want YOU!

Our Apex Fun run fundraiser will begin this week. You will hear more from your students and special messages this week. Apex is our only major fundraiser for the year. The money supports our PTO an comes to us for Field Trips, 5th grade camp, materials and projects and other school events.

We also will have Red Ribbon Week with a host of spirit day and our Halloween Parade during the last week of the month. Here are the planned spirit days:

October is National Bullying Prevention Month, dedicated to raising awareness of the harm bullying causes. On October 9, 2024, National Stop Bullying Day encourages everyone to stand up against bullying and work to put an end to it. This month, more than ever, use your voice to highlight the dangers of bullying and the impact associated with it!

We know there are times when issues come up that need to be resolved. OUSD has created a chain of communication that allows for an efficient resolution process. This is now located on our school’s website under “Our School” called Chain of Communication.
