June 11th - 8th Grade Clap Out
10:00 am- Parents will enter and exit the building through the gym door 48 located on the east
side of the gym. We will open the door for parents at 10 am. Staff will be present at the entrance
of the gym. Our 8th grade students will be joining their parents in the gym at 10:15 am to wrap
up their time here at RMS with a guest speaker and a message from the 9th grade academy.
We will end with a clap out send off!
Parking - In effort to avoid congestion in the parking lot at the end of the school day, we
encourage any parent attending the 8th grade celebration to park by the softball fields (enter off
Morton by Parks and Rec). There is a sidewalk between the practice football field and cemetery
that leads to the building. We will update you with a parking map closer to the event.
Patience - With parent pick up and the addition of our 8th grade parents, traffic will take a long
time to be able to exit the building. In addition, all school buses must be allowed to leave as
quickly as possible. Please pack your patience to help us clear traffic from the building.
End of the Year Chromebook Collection
This summer, all student learning devices will be replaced district-wide. This is the scheduled replacement of devices, which occurs every four years. Please prepare to return all district-provided equipment, including device, charger, cord, and protective case. See the dates below.
- 7th Grade- June 9th
6th Grade Activity Day
On Monday, June 9th, 6th graders will celebrate the end of the school year with Activity Day and R Awards. 6th graders will spend the morning signing yearbooks and participating in outdoor activities. This will take place at the Parks and Rec fields behind RMS. Students will then spend the afternoon with their teams doing activities and participating R Awards. Dress for the weather!
