Student Blast #7
November 7th 2022
are you getting a good night's sleep? Good sleep improves your brain performance, mood, and health.
Develop a regular sleep schedule. You should go to bed and wake up at about the same time each day.
Set up a soothing sleep environment. Turn off televisions, computers, and phones. Television viewing, computer-game playing, internet use, and other stimulating activities at bedtime can cause sleep disruptions and problems.
Avoid caffeine. Caffeine can be found in sodas, coffee-based products, iced tea, and many other substances.
Follow these tips for a good night's sleep so that you get up early in the morning, ready for a great day of learning!

Thank you for supporting our school rules and values: Responsibility, Respect, Kindness, Safety and Risk Taking. THESE CAN BE YOUR FOCUS at home as well.
Follow our expectations in all parts of the school please.
This is the OPPOSITE of what the school wide expectation is in the bathroom
Toilet Paper should be flushed and paper towels should be thrown in the garbage can.
Chromebooks
It is critical that students take responsibility for their Chromebook, use it appropriately, and remember to charge it for school. Students will lose DOJO points for repeatedly forgetting this Chromebook expectation.
Students should also be aware that bullying messages, or talk of Inappropriate things or inappropriate searches will get flagged and a message will be sent to the school.
This means students need to know that what gets written can get seen.
PLEASE
Leave the candy, Takis/Hot Cheetos and Messy Chips at home.
Birthday Celebrations may occur once a month and need to be organized with the classroom teacher.
Leave phones at home.
Kindness ROCKS!
