Sports
Winter 1 Sports (Girls Volleyball, Boys Basketball and Boys and Girls Soccer) are scheduled to start in November. All athletic forms are to be completed and signed online through FinalForms in order to be eligible. Paperwork must be completed by one week prior to the first day of practice.
· Physical—A current physical needs to be uploaded into FinalForms. A valid physical form is good for 2 years.
· Insurance—All athletes must have insurance coverage. If you don't have insurance, please contact our athletic secretary.
· Athletic Fee—A $40 athletic fee (per sport) must be paid before the first contest.
· ASB Card—A $15 ASB (one time) card must be purchased before the first athletic contest.
Deadlines for registration are one week prior to the first practice or tryout date. No late additions will be accepted for tryout sports.
Volleyball, Basketball, and Soccer are cut sports. It is advised that parents not pay for these sports until after team rosters have been posted.
Sixth graders may practice for Cross Country, Wrestling, and Track (if space is available) but not compete. Sixth graders are not responsible for the $40 athletic fee, but are responsible to pay the $15 ASB fee.
As each sport season begins, please look for additional information on the athletics page of our website. https://www.everettsd.org/domain/1692
Student Schedules & Home Access Center
Home Access Center is where you can find your student's schedule, check grades, and review registration and enrollment information. This is a great tool to use all year long. Review your student's interim grades or check previous report cards and test scores.
Click here for directions to HAC access.
Transportation
Please create a transportation plan before and after school with your students. Click here to find your student's bus route. Students should not be on campus before 7:45am unless they are involved in academic/arts events.
Each student needs to know, in advance, if he/she will be riding the bus, walking, or getting a ride from an adult. We expect our campus to be cleared by 3:00pm. If your student plans to stay after school, they need to be part of a Heatherwood sports team, club, ASB or have made previous arrangements with a teacher for academic help. Parents, make sure they have communicated with the teacher and a student pick-up plan is in place. There is an after-school activity bus available Monday - Thursday for students who are regular bus riders. The bus leaves Heatherwood at 4:00pm. Students must have a pass from their club adviser to ride.
If a student is going home on a bus with another student, a note (including name and bus number they will be riding) from parent/guardian is required to get a bus pass. Please be sure students request their bus passes before lunchtime.
Student Purchases
School purchases can be made online here beginning August 26, 2024. Items can also be purchased in the Heatherwood Office with cash or check (Made payable to Heatherwood Middle School) after the start of school.
