PTA is hosting family potlucks for each grade. This is a great time to get to know the other families, the teacher, and me. A strong class community provides a supportive and friendly environment for your child; please take the time to join us at the family potluck for your grade level. The details for each grade are in the PTA announcement below. Remember to sign-in as this event counts toward the Five-Star Family dinner. Spiritwear will be on sale at each potluck also. Parent Chat Support Group for parents of teens with mental health challenges. Second Tuesday of each month, 7-8:30 PM Los Altos Library.

Let’s Talk, IEP/504 Support Group Tuesday September 17, 10am -12pm in front of Whole Foods Los Altos.

Fall Family BBQ - September 21 11-2 pm, Rengstorff BBQ area. A fun event to meet parents and staff involved in special education. More info: selpa1cacinfo@gmail.com FREE burgers, hot dogs and vegetarian options will be provided. Please bring a beverage or snack to share.

Come learn about volunteer opportunities to Mentor high school students and Tutor students in grades K-8 in our Mountain View and Los Altos schools.

There is no obligation to sign up as a volunteer. You're welcome to just come and learn more about what we do.

All volunteers must be high school graduates.

Meal payments

If your family is experiencing a financial setback, please contact us so we can help. We can assist you in applying for free or reduced price meal benefits through the National Lunch Program. The 2019-20 online application deadline is September 20, 2019. No citizenship information is collected during the application process. Just as in the past, you will need to reapply annually. Please go to the following website to apply online today. http://www.ezmealapp.com (or applications are available at your child’s school office).

Meal payment: Full or reduced price meals can be paid online throughout the year at www.EZschoolPay.com. For 2019-20, full price meals cost $3.50 for lunch and $2.50 for breakfast (reduced price is 40¢ for lunch and 30¢ for breakfast). You can pay in advance (online, check, or cash) or at the time of purchase.
