Varsity Softball
by Lily Finnigan
Despite facing a tough start to their season, the Varsity Softball team is focused on rebuilding. Their initial 0-5 record in non-league games hasn't dampened their spirits, as it hasn't impacted their league standing. This year presents a significant rebuilding phase for the Lady Cardinals, with new coaches and a roster filled with new talent. Despite the challenges, the team is embracing the opportunity for growth and improvement.
Their recent matchups against Lutheran High North West, Owen-Gage, and Kingston, including doubleheaders against Owen-Gage and Kingston, have served as valuable learning experiences for the team.
Taking the lead over the past two weeks were Monica Kucharski and Trenna Bowman, both contributing three hits each. Mikayla Fleming has led in the amount of innings pitched.

Great job! The next Imlay City/ Dryden Girls Soccer game will be held at Imlay City against Almont on Monday, April 22nd at 5:00pm. Good luck!
