CSDA January 2025 Newsletter

After the hustle and bustle of the holidays we all are adjusting back to our normal routines. Back to school, dance and other activities. We hope everyone enjoyed their break.

If you didn't get a chance to look up your dancer's costume(s) or music, head over to your parent portal to check them out!

To view your child/children's costume(s) go into your parent portal and click the costume tab on the home page. Recital Music downloads will be under the music files tab.

Hip Hop, Boys Combo and Break Dancing Costumes: Costumes for all Hip Hop, Boys Combo and Break Dancing classes will be posted in your portals by January 7th. You will have until February 1st for payment with a $15 late fee on the 2nd for nonpayment.

Tuition Reminder:

Tuition is posted near the end of the month and is due the first class of each month. A $15.00 late fee will be assessed to any tuition payments received after the 15th of the month. Auto-pay will run on the 1st of the month for tuition and on the 13th. If auto-pay falls on a holiday, it will run on the next business day.

Tuition Installments:

1st Tuition Installment Due by Aug 15th

2nd Tuition Installment Due by Sept 15th

3rd Tuition Installment Due by Oct 15th

4th Tuition Installment Due by Nov 15th

5th Tuition Installment Due by Dec 15th

6th Tuition Installment Due by Jan 15th

7th Tuition Installment Due by Feb 15th

8th Tuition Installment Due by March 15th

9th Tuition Installment Due by April 15th

10th (Final) Tuition Installment Due by May 15th

No tuition will be due in June

Enroll in Auto-pay anytime during the season to avoid late fees.

For illnesses please follow the same policy as schools. If your child is not feeling well or has been exposed to an illness, please stay home. We offer makeup classes! Reach out to asmith@centerstagestudios.net to schedule a make up class.

If your dancer is going to be absent please log the absence in your parent portal under attendance.

Curious if there is class due to the weather?!

We will cancel class due to weather about 2 hours prior to opening.

Example: If the studio opens for the day at 4pm we will send out the cancellation around 2pm. If we don't post a cancellation that means We Are Open!

The studio may be open even if school is cancelled.

Our dancers have been up to some pretty amazing things this past month! We want to congratulate

Reagan Walsh who competed in the Northeast Regional Oireachtas for Irish dance in November & came is 20th for Girls U13 Traditionally set.

Congratulations to Madison Marcum and Dylan Margarit for receiving the Pawsitive award at school this past December.

Great job Julia Ronemus on your 7th Nutcracker performance! This year she was both a party girl and an angel with a local studio's Nutcracker.

Congrats Caitlin Allsopp for being inducted into the National Honor Society!

Congrats to Emma Cristoforo for playing Little Red in Dramafuns Into the Woods. Fantastic Job!

Awesome job Ainsley Chousa for your performance in the Shrek the Musical X3.

Both Avery Joy and Tyler Hartwell received the SWIM Award for the second time this year! Great job you two!

Ashlyn Lopes, Zach Leitao & Nora Lindsey had the incredible honor of performing with the Plymouth High School Band in Hawaii at the Pearl Harbor Day Parade and giving a special performance before the event alongside the United States Marine Band.

Congratulations Laura Gendron on for receiving the Certificate of Achievement from SkillsUSA in representing restaurant service 2nd place!

Charlotte Roy had a great time at Dance to Inspire taking classes and getting feedback for her new Solo!

Sending a huge Congratulations to Faith, Dahlia, and Avery on earning your Pointe shoes! This is a huge milestone and due to your tremendous hard work. We're so proud of you!

Thank you to everyone who participated in the December Toy Drive! We donated several boxes of toys to the Plymouth Area Coalition. Thank you CSDA families for making a difference in our community and congrats to Aubrey Ellis for winning the first choice on recital tickets!

We also would like to thank all of the dancers who made cards for our nursing home tour. The residents loved them and the joy on their faces was priceless. We will be collecting Valentine cards in the beginning of February so break out those craft supplies again!

You never know who you will run into at the Nutcracker!

The Outreach Team did an amazing job bringing the Christmas spirit and joy during this holiday season. From rain to cold to cozy rooms, these performers have really shown how professional and talented they are. We are so proud of how hard all of you have worked.

This New Year the Outreach Team will be working on their competition routines, performing at a Celtics game, performing at Riverview and the Rock Your Socks off Event. They also have their Outreach Team Showcase on March 1st! Be on the look out for ticket sales.

Ongoing Fundraisers:

The Outreach Team collects register receipts from Clements Market in Manomet. Please drop receipts into studio desk located at both studios. Keep on the lookout for our upcoming fundraisers to help our dancers get to NYC July 2026!!

Though we weren’t able to perform on camera in this year’s parade due to music issues, we are beyond grateful for the opportunity to be featured in a special spotlight by Channel 5! The segment beautifully highlighted our dance studio and Outreach Teams mission as a nonprofit and our commitment to giving back to the community. We are incredibly proud of the selfless dedication shown by our talented team-your hard work, commitment and spirit make all the difference!

A special thank you to America's Hometown Thanksgiving Celebration for hosting us every year and allowing us to help usher in the holiday season with joy and excitement as we welcome Santa. It’s an honor to be part of such a beloved tradition, and we look forward to many more years of celebrating with all of you.

To our amazing dancers, families, volunteers, and supporters: your passion and commitment are what make us who we are. Together, we make a difference in our community, and we couldn’t be prouder.

Welcome to our newest section of the CSDA monthly newsletter! Here we will have information about our We Can Dance program. There will be reiteration from emails that were sent as well as reminders posted here for our We Can Dance Families 😊

This past month our We Can Dance class enjoyed a holiday season of performing at Edaville and Plymouth Rehab Nursing home, and participating in fun Holiday inspired classes. As we enter the New Year, students will begin preparing for Competition & Recital.

The cut off date to participate in the recital for We Can Dance was December 1st, with costume sizing completed throughout December. We are pleased to announce this year, that costume costs & recitals fees will once again be covered by Plymouth County Family Support for our We Can Dance Students!

For access to the music for recital and competition, please check out your parent portal!

For those participating in the recital, keep an eye on your inbox as we approach the Spring, as Miss Sam will provide more specific information for what to expect for recital season!

Don't forget to sign up for each session as Plymouth County Family Support releases the information. Center Stage is so excited to announce, that consistently for the last year, the We Can Dance class has filled its roster to maximum capacity!

As winter sets in, we're already dreaming of the warm days of summer—and we want you to be the first to know about our exciting summer dance class and camp schedule! 🩰

Mark your calendars for a season filled with creativity, growth, and joy. Keep an eye out ,as registration will open soon! Stay tuned for details, and don’t miss your chance to be part of the magic.

*Absences for all dancers should be reported in your parent portal under attendance. If you would like to schedule a make up class you can write it in when reporting the absence.
