Friday November 1st - NO SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS - Teacher Professional Development Day

The school year is flying by. Thank-you to all of you who have been practicing your kindness during pick-up and drop-off. It makes an arduous task so much enjoyable for all involved. I love being out in the parking lot and talking with some of you and seeing your patience while you wait.

Thank-you to everyone for your patience and kind driving. Our school Resource Officer, Deputy Kevin Hills of Placer County Sheriff's Department, came by to observe and was very impressed with the process. He was impressed that we were able to quickly and most importantly safely dismiss almost 400 kiddos without any problems. This is only because of the kindness I see you demonstrating daily. Our children our watching. When we let a car back out of a parking spot or we stop for pedestrians, our littles are learning how to be kind adults. What they have been seeing in the last few weeks has been wonderful. I appreciate it, and I know the entire community appreciates it.

Reminder that Friday November 1st there is no school for students. This is a training day for staff and we will be working on improving how we provide instruction for all students.

Saturday, October 26th, is the Fall Carnival. This is the most wonderful community event I have ever experienced. I hope all of you can join us for family, food, and fun on this afternoon. AND I hope many of you can reach out to your classroom teacher or PTC to help make this event even more phenomenal than it has been in past years

It truly takes a village.
