AP U.S. Government and Politics
Mrs. Spencer
Welcome to our class!!!
I can't wait to get to know you better and learn alongside you this semester. Our class will encourage you to hone your critical thinking skills as you analyze and interpret information and data in primary and secondary source readings, news reports, graphs, and tables to learn how to ask and respond to challenging questions and become responsible citizens. A fundamental theme of our class is active citizenship, with emphasis on critical thinking about political issues, while helping you to learn how to become involved in the political process.
- Fill out this short survey so I can get to know you.
- Check your Plan each day to determine what to do and read through the lessons thoroughly before you attempt quizzes or complete assignments. Please remember to reach out to me if you have questions or need help in the course. I am always here for you!
- Complete and submit the AP U.S. Government and Politics Learning Contract with your Learning Coach. This is REQUIRED and an expectation. If you do not feel you have the time to commit to this AP course, it is better to communicate earlier rather than later. I am here for you if you have any questions or concerns.
