Fish Day
Lubbock-Cooper High School will host our annual Fish Day on the morning of Tuesday, July 30th. This event is designed to:
- Introduce 2024 LCHS Freshmen to campus administrators and counselors
- Distribute schedules and iPads to freshmen students
- Take yearbook pictures
- Tours the campus
- Get freshmen students plugged into student organizations

Join our first ever summer reading program!! Click the image below to join the Google Classroom where you'll find all the information. This is an informal, voluntary, and fun program meant to encourage pleasure reading and is open to students and staff. The more you participate, the more entries you receive for prizes at the start of next school year. Other prizes awarded along the way!
Marketing Practicum (Work Program) Students
You must have found and started a job by August 14, 2024.
You cannot work for family unless approved by Sarah Allen - saraha@lcisd.net
It has to be a brick and mortar storefront, and you MUST receive a pay stub with taxes taken out.

Summer Bridge Program
In partnership with TRIO programs, Texas Tech’s Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSI) Initiatives is launching a First-Year Summer Bridge Program from July 28th-31st, 2024. This program is not just about transitioning new incoming first-year students to Texas Tech but also about offering them a fun and interactive experience that will prepare them for college life. We highly encourage First-Generation College Students to register for this event! The best part? It's completely FREE, including registration, meals, and lodging. To register, click the image below.
