Community Newsletter 12/9 - 12/13

It’s hard to believe we’ve already reached the final week of the first semester! As students prepare for semester exams, let’s remind them that this is an opportunity to demonstrate what they’ve learned and how much they’ve grown. Whether they’re aiming for a high grade or working to bump up their semester average, every step forward is worth celebrating.
This week is all about focus and finishing strong, but it’s also a time to reflect on the hard work and dedication our students and staff have shown since August. I’m incredibly proud of the progress we’ve made together as a campus, and I hope you’ll take a moment to recognize the effort your child has put into their learning this semester.
Please note that Friday is an early release day for students, marking the start of a well-deserved break. I encourage everyone to rest, recharge, and enjoy time with loved ones so we can return in January ready to tackle new challenges and continue to grow.
Thank you for your continued support of Pearland High School.

Fall Semester Exam Exemptions
A quick reminder that the deadline to select classes for semester exam exemptions is tomorrow at 3:00 PM. Please ensure your child makes their selections before the portal closes.
If your child did not meet eligibility for exemptions this semester, it’s a great opportunity to reflect and plan ahead for next semester. Encourage them to stay on top of their grades from the very start and to be present as much as possible, aiming to keep absences below 5 for the semester.
