Carolina Springs Elementary
November 2023
A Message from Mr. Brown
October was an extremely busy month at the Springs. We celebrated our school report card rating where we have shown tremendous growth to a "Good" rating! Our teachers are working extremely hard to create meaningful and engaging learning for your children each and everyday. As a school we have been chosen to go through important learning through the SC State Department of Education called LETRS training to become even better experts at teaching reading to all of our students. I am really proud of the the dedication that they have shown in this endeavor.
I am also really proud of our students as they have shown the character traits of Respectful, Responsible, Trustworthy and Pride and were celebrated in our first Husky Pep Rally. This celebration was amazing for all involved.
November is a month where we often talk about being thankful and expressing our gratefulness for others. I am so thankful for this school community and each member of this large family. I encourage parents to not only discuss what their children are learning each day, but also to get involved in the learning and activities at CSES. Together we will achieve even more!
Let's be Heroes, Huskies!
