Weekly Update

Students are completing beginning of the year diagnostic screenings. We use this data to support students who may need additional help in core areas of instruction. Next week we will include information on how students are selected for enrichment instruction and if they will stay after school for additional support.

We had a busy week:

Monday and Tuesday Sweethearts and Heroes led circles.

Wednesday PAWS led the Yearbook Crew downtown Potsdam to secure paid advertisements.

Thursday students from Brasher joined our PHCS students for the SUNY Roadshow.

Friday a group of students attended the NYSPHSSAA Student Leadership Summit at Clarkson.

We will be testing our automated system beginning Monday.

Families will be alerted daily at 9:15 if their student is absent.

Please bare with us as we worth through this process.

Reminder: send in a note when your student is absent.

We had many families about to take part in the Online Paperwork option this year.

If you haven't already done so, please complete Beginning Year Paperwork.

If you need a paper copy, please reach out to the Main Offices.

We will be utilizing the "ROOMS" platform as our District Communication tool for this School Year.

Teachers, Coaches, and Main Office Staff will use this to push out information to our families as well as receive two way communication back and forth to creating lasting home to school relationships with our PHCS Families.

The building opens at 7:30 Daily.

Students UPK- Grade 6 go to the Cafeteria until 7:50

Students in Grades 7-12 go to the Auditorium until 7:50.

Parent Pick-Up is at the side door.

October 13th- School Picture Day

October 20th- PARENT GROUP: Kids' Night Out
