Principal's Message
Hello Families,
Over spring break a "ring" like doorbell system was installed on our main entrance. We have spent the month of April testing it out, ensuring the software works and the video/audio. I sent a video message to families via Seesaw on Friday sharing that we would begin using the system on Monday. I am proud to say day 1 was a success! Going forward, please remember the outside doors at door 1 will be locked from 8:40 - 3:40 and visitors will need to use the new "doorbell." There is also signage on the door to help you out.
Thank you for making our Fun Run a huge success! I had to hold up my end of the deal by creating a rap video...which actually turned out to be a lot of fun. A huge Paws Up to "Dino" Dan for his help, he truly was the mastermind behind it all. I don't know how we can top it next year, but I am sure we will try!
Our Learning Celebration is this week Thursday. While there is still a month of school left, this is our time to celebrate the great work and growth that has happened this school year. Our PTO will also kick off our Spring Book Fair, so it will be a perfect time to stock up for some summer reading!
Finally, it is teacher appreciation week. I often get asked by students what is the best part of being a principal. Well, to me one of the best parts is I don't have just one classroom, I get to be a small part of all the classes. This past school year I have seen many wonderful activities, as well as students excited about learning. We have a special group of teachers, staff, and students and I know you recognize that too based on the feedback I receive. I am in awe of our teachers and staff each and every day, and Meadow View is a great place to learn and play because of them. I see the relationships, the smiles, and the learning each day and couldn't be more proud to call Meadow View home. Please take time this week to thank a teacher!
Paws Up,
Mr. Schreiber

Parent Request to Move or Refund Credit Balances
- All credit balances can be moved over to a families food service account, this is our preferred use of credit balances but we understand sometimes this just doesn't make the most sense.
- Credit balances on student fee accounts will only be refunded if over $15.00 and all other fees are paid in full. If your family food service account is in a negative balance, funds will be moved to cover this overage prior to any refunds.
- Credit balances can be moved to sibling accounts to pay for outstanding fees.
- Credit balances cannot be moved to pay for web store items.
- Refunds will be processed within 1-2 weeks of submission.

New Process For Entering School During the Day
We’re taking some additional steps to ensure the security of our front entrance during the school day. Everyone who comes to our front entrance during school hours will be asked to do the following:
Push the buzzer to call the main office
Be prepared to identify themselves and their reason for visiting
Enter the main office once the doors have been unlocked
If you’re visiting school during the day or picking your child up early, please contact the main office before you arrive to let us know. It will speed up this new process if we know when to expect you.
Thank you for helping to keep our school safe!
