PLE Updates

Pine Lane Crew,
This week was National School Counselor Week! We have two school counselors, Ms. Zimmerman and Ms. DeBever, for whom we are so grateful! Our school counselors greet our students at the front doors. They deliver in-class lessons to support emotional regulation, executive function, bullying prevention, and more. They also work to connect with each child in the building to support their ability to stay in class and stay focused on their learning. We are so grateful for all they do to truly remove barriers to learning and support our students.
This past week our Pine Lane Choir has had a number of great accomplishments. This past Saturday, we had several of our vocalists invited to perform in the Colorado Music Educator Association’s All-State Choir. On Tuesday we also had the return of our Chaparral Feeder Choir Concert. Music is such an incredible opportunity for our students and we are so grateful to Ms. Dameron, Ms. Eads, Mr. Goins, and Ms Peterson for all the opportunities they provide our students at Pine Lane.
One major objective in Kindergarten is learning to count to 100. Tomorrow, our kindergarten crew is going to be celebrating their 100th day of school. They have invited the whole school to join in the fun by wearing 100 days of school attire or dressing up like you are 100 years old. We look forward to joining them on this fun day and reinforcing those number sense and counting skills.
Next week, we also have a couple of field trips. We are excited to send our 6th grade Crew to Snow Mountain Ranch for PLUM. We are excited to hear the stories and memories they make during this Pine Lane tradition! 4th grade is also headed to the Colorado History Center which connects strongly to their Social Studies standards. Our teams work hard to provide enriching experiences for our students.

In the meantime we are pre-selling T-shirts. (This is the only time to order wish week t-shirts)
- Material of the shirts will be the same softer shirt as the last two years. Very little shrinking
- Color and design is released on March 27th.
- All shirts will be delivered on March 27th to PLE we will sort and send out

ADULT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED to judge the STEM Fair!
WE need volunteers to judge the STEM fair on
FRIDAY March 7 from 11 - 4 at both campuses.
We are looking for any adult who can use a rubric, college students, and HS students who need volunteer hours
