Hello Centerview Families,
Spring Break is right around the corner, which will be a great time to recharge and gear up for the final third of the school year.
During our time away, I will be hangin’ out at home for the week, mixing in some schoolwork with some training sessions for my families new black Labrador puppy, Blu-Chip Lambeau (pictured below). At eight weeks old, it’ll be fun and I’ll cherish the time I have to get him on track with a routine and schedule that fits with our family. I know that sounds urgently optimistic, but I’m looking forward to the challenge.
If you as a family requested a learning model change for trimester 3 last week, you should have heard from a Centerview staff member at this point. For those students continuing in Extended Flexible Learning or who have requested it for trimester 3, you will continue to have four days a week of “live” (synchronous) learning and primarily “on-demand/independent” (asynchronous) learning on Wednesdays. If you have questions or need clarity, please reach out to the Centerview office at 763-600-5500. We want to make either transition a positive one.
As I’m sure you are aware, there will be no school Friday, March 12 through Monday, March 22. Students resume learning on Tuesday, March 23. Please continue to follow health and safety precautions over the break to help us keep our classrooms open for learning when we arrive back.
Enjoy your Spring Break venture, whatever that might entail. Rest, be safe and own the opportunity to be in the moment and appreciate the time we have to rejuvenate. I’ll keep ya all posted on my Lambeau achievements.
Stay healthy and enjoy!
My best,
Mike
Updates for Extended Flex Learning families
Greetings,
We have reached another mile marker in this crazy COVID-19 driven year. Next week is spring break! We are also wrapping up trimester 2 and moving into trimester 3. There is no school for students Friday, March 12 through Monday, March 22. Have a safe and healthy week.
If your family requested a change from Extended Flexible Learning to learning at school full-time, you should receive confirmation of changes before spring break begins Friday, March 12. Please note, any change request will impact your student’s teacher and the class roster. Change requests will impact both at-school and distancing learning classrooms and teachers. If you have questions, please reach out to the school your child will be attending.
We look forward seeing you back on Tuesday, March 23.
Take care,
Kimberly Fehringer

Importance of safe mask wearing
As students return from Spring Break Tuesday, March 23, more students at all grade levels will be learning at school five days per week. It is important that all students continue to wear their face mask properly in school buildings to protect others as well as themselves.
Face mask tips from Becca Williams, SLP Lead Health Nurse
- Face masks/coverings should comfortably cover the nose, mouth and chin
- There should be no gaps on the sides of the face mask
- Face masks should stay in place without needing to be adjusted frequently
- As we head into muddy Minnesota spring, it is a good idea to pack an extra face mask
For more information on how to properly wear a mask, check out this helpful one-page document.
