Understanding the ABCDE Calendar
D300 elementary schools use an ABDCE/1-2 schedule for each school day. Students attend "Specials" classes such as Art, Music, PE, STEM, and Skills for Success depending on which letter/number day it is, such as A1 or A2. Each class follows a different schedule. For example your student may attend PE on A and D days, Music on B and C days, and Skills for Success on E days. Art and STEM occur every other week, depending on the number of the day. If your student has Art/STEM on D days, it will be Art class if it is a D1 day, and STEM class if it is a D2 day. This schedule keeps students from always missing the same Specials class on school holidays. There are no letter/number days on Late Start days. Each class has a unique schedule, so please refer to your student's classroom calendar to know when your student has Specials.
9/11 Rememberance Ceremony Honoring Eastview Heroes
On Wednesday, September 11th, at 12:45 pm we will hold our annual 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony to honor our local heroes. Please join us as we gather around the flagpole to thank our veterans, firefighters, and police officers for all they do for our country and community. If any of our students/families have a parent, grandparent, older sibling, or someone that they are close to that are currently or retired police officers, firefighters, veterans, or serving in the military and are able to join us we would love to have you. All students will participate in a variety of activities to prepare for this moving Eastview tradition. Students and guests are encouraged to wear red, white & blue to honor our heroes. We would be honored to have our guests join us for lunch immediately following the ceremony.

How to Notify the Office When Your Student will be Absent
