Letter from the Principal
Dear HMS Families,
Happy New Year and welcome back! We hope you had a restful and joyful winter break filled with time for family, friends, and rejuvenation. As 2025 begins, we are excited for more learning and opportunities for Heritage students. We look forward to seeing students on Tuesday, January 7th.
As we kick off the 2025 school, please be reminded that students should not arrive on campus before 7:50 AM as we do not have supervision, but should arrive at school before 8:15 AM so they are not tardy to school. Consistent attendance plays a large role in the academic success of our students. Every day counts, so please continue to ensure that your student is here every day and ready to learn and grow.
We look forward to continuing to partner with all of our Heritage families. We encourage you to stay connected with teachers, participate in school activities, and reach out with any questions or concerns.

Yearbooks for the 2024-2025 school year are officially for sale online! The sales will be running through December 20th when we leave for winter break. PBIS Rewards/Recompensas PBIS
We utilize an app called PBIS Rewards where students earn points throughout the school year for being Responsible, Respectful and Safe. We have a PBIS store that we open for students to purchase fun items with their points. We also do raffles, field trips and a winter extravaganza that students can utilize their points throughout the year. We encourage students to use their points by the end of the year as they do not roll over!
Utilizamos una aplicación llamada PBIS Rewards donde los estudiantes ganan puntos durante el año escolar por ser Responsables, Respetuosos y Seguros. Tenemos una tienda PBIS que abrimos para que los estudiantes compren artículos divertidos con sus puntos. También realizamos rifas, excursiones y un espectáculo de invierno en el que los estudiantes pueden utilizar sus puntos durante todo el año. ¡Animamos a los estudiantes a usar sus puntos antes de fin de año, ya que no se pasan al siguiente año!
StopIt
This week students should will download STOPit to their iPads. This is an online application that Heritage students have access to. This application allows students to anonymously report incidents of bullying, misconduct or general concerns. All reports go to the support service team and administration which allows us to act quickly and in real time to any concerns or incidents.
Esta semana, los estudiantes deberían de haber descargado la aplicación STOPit en sus iPads. La aplicacion STOPit es una aplicación en línea a la que tienen acceso los estudiantes de Heritage. Esta aplicación permite a los estudiantes denunciar de forma anónima incidentes de intimidación, mala conducta o inquietudes generales. Todos los reportes van al equipo de
