Tech Weekly News Update
Week of Apr. 7 - 11 - Study Island Map Update
Study Island has Updated Learning Paths
Study Island users, students should see their updated learning path when they access MY CLASSES>MY NWEA MAP LEARNING PATH>VIEW ASSIGNMENTS. The math, reading or science path will be displayed and each subject will say either START or CONTINUE. Once the subject is clicked, the student can see that the topics were assigned on 3/27/2025. New students that enrolled in the district after the testing window closed will not have a NWEA Map Learning Path for Study Island or Exact Path.
Please reach out if you have a new student that needs a auto-generated learning path for SI or Exact Path. The diagnostic will be created from the program and the student can use it until the next NWEA Map testing window.

Is your SI Class List a Mess?
It was brought to our attention that departmentalized teachers have a long list of classes many of which are extra and not being synced. Classlink pulls in the title of the classes that was entered into Ascender. Here are some tips to help you make it more organized:
- Click on Class Manager
- You will see a long list of classes
- Look for the green check mark that indicates your "synced" active class.
- Click on the class with the ✅ in the synced column.
- Look for the class with (# Students Selected)
- That will indicate your active class of students
- Rename the class by clicking on the pencil to edit - Rename it whatever you like!
- You can also delete the classes with the duplicate un-synced classes
