Teacher Responsibilities

  • Setting up Course Organization

  • Sending out Parent Access Codes

  • Setting up Grading Categories to Match Skyward

  • Configure your Schoology Gradebook for syncing with Skyward

  • Connect your Google Drive through Resources

  • Join the CHISD Curriculum Resources Group and access content-specific resources

  • Join CHISD Professional Development Resources Group

  • If needed, complete the Schoology refresher course or attend a PD session

Organizing Your Course

It is recommended that you change your course image and include an image that has your name and class period on the image tile.

Grade Setup, Syncing Configuration, and Linking Courses

In order to successfully sync grades from Schoology to Skyward, you need to set up your grade book for each course and configure the course Schoology to sync. The video below will show you how to do this.


Additionally, if you teach multiple sections of a course, you may want to link your courses so that you can manage all of your sections from one course.
