Weekly Announcements

Dear Steck Families,

Our first two days of school have been awesome! I am so proud of our students and staff! Things are going well as we establish routines and expectations and get to know each other. Thank you for your support as we start a new school year!

Each Friday, I will send weekly announcements through email. This same information will also be posted on our school website. From time to time, text message reminders will be sent to families. Your child's teacher(s) will send email communication about classroom information. All of these options are good ways to stay informed about what is happening at school.

A tradition at Steck is to show school spirit and Eagle Pride on Fridays by wearing our school colors (navy blue and white) or Steck wear. You can order a Steck shirt by August 30. Order forms were sent home in backpack mail.

Order forms for spirit shirts were sent home in backpacks. Order forms and payment are due by August 30.

Next week is safety week at Steck. Each day of the week classroom teachers will teach lessons on school safety. After learning about school safety, we will practice with safety drills. All drills are announced in advance and used to reinforce what we learned in our lessons. You will receive notification of all drills.
