ADVENT

On Monday, December 16 we will light the pink candle - the Candle of Joy which is sometimes called the "Shepherd's Candle." We anticipate the coming of Jesus with joy and anticipation. As we move through the season of Advent, we prepare our hearts for the coming of Jesus.

The final purple candle will be lit on Sunday, December 22 to mark the final week before the birth of Jesus. This fourth candle represents love. Love is a gift; a gift from God. At Christmastime, we as Christians believe that God's greatest gift of love was Jesus, the Savior of the world.
