Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we approach the end of this semester, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for the opportunity to work with your incredible students. It has truly been a fantastic semester filled with growth, learning, and memorable moments. Your kids continue to inspire us with their hard work, creativity, and energy (lots and lots of energy)!

With the Christmas season upon us, we’re excited to take some time to celebrate and reflect on all the wonderful achievements of the past few months. This is a time to recharge, connect with loved ones, and embrace the joy of the season.

As the semester wraps up, we are already looking forward to welcoming your students back in January. A new year and a fresh semester bring endless possibilities, and we can’t wait to see all that they will accomplish in 2025!

Sometimes as administrators, we get emails from parents or patrons about something our students were caught doing. Many times this can be something that needs to be addressed and a "learning opportunity" takes place for the kids involved.

BUT...we also get emails about all the great things our students do. Check out this email we received from a patron about our East Minico Wrestling Team:

Dear Mr. Heath,

Last weekend I attended a wrestling tournament at Minico. It was a very large event with many people, schools, and athletes moving about. I wanted to share with you how proud I was of how the wrestlers from East Minico represented themselves, our schools, our District, and our community.

Several times I witnessed them waiting patiently and asking to help the elderly or handicapped climb the stairs, opening and holding doors when they could have been going on ahead with friends, giving up their seats to parents and grandparents from other schools, and picking up random garbage.

I was impressed and touched by their kindness and respect. They represented their team well. It warmed my heart.

Please thank them for their kindness and efforts to be positive role models that day.
