From the Middle EMS and ELA
News from the Principal, December 1, 2020
Hello Parents and Families,
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving with loved ones. We are thankful for our amazing Englewood students. Our teachers are continuing to see great work from our students even amidst the difficulties of remote learning. Our hope is to be back in-person in January, and we will continue to watch the numbers from Tri-County Health as well as the evolving guidance from the state with regards to safety and health regulations. Thank you for your patience as we are all continuing to navigate the pandemic.
If at any time you need anything, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Technology Support During Rolling Remote
Parents/Guardians- Send an email to tech@engschools.net with your students' names and a brief description of the problem. You can also call the Tech hotline @ 303-806-6883.
ATTENDANCE DURING REMOTE LEARNING
If your student or household is dealing with Covid, please leave a message on our attendance line so we can continue to track Covid in our community.
- Students who do not login will be counted absent.
- Students need to be on time to their zoom call. Missing too much of the Zoom call will result in an absence.
- If your child will not be present in remote learning, please call the attendance line to excuse their absence (within 24 hours of the absence).
- One point of confusion for students has been which day and which zoom. We are on a rotation schedule just like we were while in-person. If students struggle with getting on Zoom, they should email their teachers immediately so teachers can help problem-solve.
