WSD Holiday Assistance Program
Would you like to bring a little holiday cheer to a WSD family? Each year in December the WSD Holiday Assistance Program helps to provide gifts for needy students and their families. Last year over 400 families and 1,080 children received assistance in this charitable effort! The program works with businesses, community groups, and individuals to help make the upcoming holidays more enjoyable for struggling families. In our schools, students and staff do a variety of things to raise money and collect gifts, and many families are adopted by their own caring school community. But there is always a need for additional community support.
If you or your family and friends would like to provide gifts for a family in need, families range in size from one child to seven children and donors can request what size family they would like to adopt. We ask that donors drop the gifts at the WSD Administrative Center and we will coordinate getting the gifts to the donorβs adopted family. If you would like to adopt a family, please contact (636) 327-3800 x 20358 or kathleendelaquil@wsdr4.org. #WSDcommunity
