- FUN FRIDAY SPIRIT DAYS IN JANUARY AND FEBRUARY: Our Bobcats earned the following SPIRIT days for their recent support in our service drive for the Natick Service Council. Each grade level selected their own SPIRIT day to sponsor. We look forward to seeing our Bobcats celebrate each other show their Ben Hem pride.
- Friday, January 19: Rainbow Day: Wear your grade level color or something rainbow!
- -Kindergarten: Red
- -1st Grade: Orange
- -2nd Grade: Yellow
- -3rd Grade: Green
- -4th Grade: Blue
- -Staff: Purple
- Friday, January 26: BOBCAT Pride Day - Show your Ben Hem pride!
- Friday, February 2: TIE DYE Day! wear your favorite tie dye swag
- Friday, February 9: SUPER FAN Day! What team/character/book do you love? Let us know today.
- Friday, February 16: PAJAMA Day! The day before winter break is a great day to come to school comfy and ready to work.
- ECONOMICS AT WORK: Our second graders hosted their first market place as a culminating event on Thursday, January 4th. Parent volunteers worked the market tables and students were able to shop for goods with money earned during the month of December through a token economy system. Second graders learned about supply and demand, good and services, use of money, and needs versus wants.
- iNTERNATIONAL NIGHT IS COMING:
Join us for International Night - Jan. 18th
Join us at the Ben Hem PTO International Night on 1/18/24 to learn about countries around the world. Kids can create a poster or display about any country! Walk around and "visit" the other countries! Fill out this form to sign up!
- MORNING DROP OFF HELP: Our morning drop off line depends on the parents in our community. We are looking for the parents of Kindergarten and 1st graders to help our students out of the cars and to the right place. Live drop-off starts at 8:05 and volunteers are asked to be there from 8:00 to 8:20. Please Sign up here!
- MEET KODIAK: Kodiak began his visits at Ben Hem. Classes have signed up to meet Kodiak in the library to learn more about what a therapy dog is and how we can engage in with him when he is here at Ben Hem. He will be visiting our campus weekly and students will have a chance to connect with him if they want. Welcome Kodiak and his handler, Janeen!

- SEEKING LUNCH MONITORS AT BEN HEM: We are seeking two lunch monitors to support students in our lunchroom Monday through Friday. The position is three hours a day (10:30 - 1:30 pm). If you are interested or know someone that might be a good fit, please have them contact me at kaghilani@natickps.org.
