Cell Phones & Children - Best Practices - Event
The Cascade Family Resource Center has another great event planned. We have partnered with Liberty House to host a Zoom workshop for the whole family on Thursday, March 21 from 6:00pm - 7:30pm. Explore the digital world through the eyes of young users via fun videos and interactive discussion. Learn the three best practices you and your children can implement TODAY to stay safe and have healthy relationships with cell phones.
Parents and children are encouraged to attend so round up the whole family for this event. The workshop is FREE and registration is required through Eventbrite (links below). Don't forget to put this opportunity on your calendar. Staff are welcome to register as well.
Flyers are attached with more information.

Read Every Day March Challenge “Leer Todos los Días” el desafío de marzo
In March, grade alike classes will be competing to see who can read the most. The rules will remain the same for Read Every Day. You must read at least 15 minutes on 5 different days to count towards the goal. The class from each grade level who has the most students turn in a Read Every Day Reading Log, with at least 15 minutes of reading, on 5 different days will be selected to have a cookie party. To increase the likelihood of winning, read every day, for 5 days in a row, for at least 15 minutes, and immediately turn in your reading log after finishing. Get a new log and new books and start the process again for the
whole month.
Good Luck to everyone and may the most dedicated readers win!
