Congratulations to all our Warriors who made it to State. Our very own seventh grader, McKenna Ownbey, brought home first place for the Lady Warriors and placed tenth in the state! Way to go McKenna! You make us proud!

We are so appreciative of your kindness and generosity. Thank you for supporting our students' achievements and our district-wide reading platform, Beanstack.

Our World's Finest Chocolate fundraiser was a HUGE success this year thanks to everyone involved. Students not only had the chance to spin the wheel for money, but enjoyed raffle drawings for gift cards, more chocolate, and other prizes. Anna Eaddy won the 5 pound chocolate bar, while Jerome Caldwell was recognized as the school's top seller and presented with $100 cash! Congratulations to everyone who participated in our school's fundrasier! We appreciate you support!

If your child would like to join a Strength and Conditioning/Weightlifting class for Spring semester, please let Mrs. K. Williams know through a written letter or an email, kiwilliams@gcsd.k12.sc.us. We will choose students whose schedules work for the class with the least changes. We will fill this class on a first-come, first-serve basis.

In an effort to update our library's nonfiction collection, we would like to ask that you follow the instructions below, and join WMS to help raise funds through Boxtops for Education. If this is overwhelming, and you would like to simply turn in your receipts, please turn them into Mrs. K. Williams and we will do the scanning on our end. Thank you for your support!

Waccamaw Middle School, led by Student Council, is participating in the Toys for Tots campaign. We are accepting donations of new, unwrapped toys until December 15th. Please drop them off in the designated bin inside our school's lobby or send them by your student. Help us spread joy this holiday season!
