Parents & Guardians,

As a reminder please be sure that if you attend any events at Heritage Trails during the school day, such as Trail Mix, assemblies, plays, etc.. that you are required to check in at the office and have your ID scanned. You must bring a state issued ID or driver's license and receive a visitor sticker with your name on it. Please allow yourself extra time to do this in case there is a line of other parents and guardians checking in. We only have two check in systems so it can be a slower process when there are a lot of people or people arriving without ID's. We can certainly expedite this if you would come into the office with your ID already out and ready to be scanned. Thank you for taking our students safety as a top priority.

Mrs. Pembrook's class celebrated color day after learning all about the color Orange. Be on the look out for other Kindergarten color days!

Our dedicated team selects action groups to enhance student academics, culture, and leadership, while deepening their expertise in the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People!

Mrs. Hamilton's class is diving deep into vocabulary development. Students are honing their skills by identifying context clues and exploring synonyms, building a stronger foundation for understanding communication.

Students & Teachers challenge each other to a race!

Students raised over $600 for STUCO. Mrs. Lee's 3rd grade class got to Silly String the Principal's!

Blue and Gold Camp fundraiser starts September 5th. Funds raised help pay for our 5th grade students to go to Camp Classen.

Every household needs to complete the Lunch Program Application. This application takes about 5-7 minutes to complete. You will need your student's ID number. You can find this in your parent portal account by clicking on Today. It is located under your students name. Your student may also know this number as their "lunch number". You will also need to provide your estimated income. We need 100% of our school to have completed this application.

Any medications that your child needs to take at school, a Medication Consent form needs to be filled out by parent and Physician. If you need a Medication Consent form please contact the Nurses office.

The Heritage Trails PTA is amazing at helping to get information out to our Parents.

In Moore Public Schools we have numerous ways for parents to keep up with their students, grades, attendance and class/homework.

Please make sure to check out the HT Parents Center and MPS Parents Center!!!

The three main ways to keep up:

1. Parent Portal - Receive notifications about attendance, grades and missing assignments.All progress/report cards will be online. No paper copies will be sent home.

   Per the updated District Policy Code: 7040 – STUDENT PROGRESS COMMUNICATIONS:

   ‘Student grades are always available to parents and students through “In Progress” grades in the Parent and Student Portals. Parents/guardians can set up notifications within the Parent Portal system to be notified of assignment or In Progress Grades.’

   Please take this time to check your student’s In Progress Grades through your parent portal account. If you need assistance accessing your Parent Portal account, your student’s school may assist you.
