The Lady Knights have started off the season with an overall record of eleven wins and eight losses. In their first two Valley League games their record is two wins and no losses. In last weeks games Kadence Raymond scored fifty one points while shooting eleven of fourteen from three point range Kadence shot eighty six percent from the free throw line while averaging six steals, four assists and two rebounds. The Knights are ranked twenty first in San Diego County as league play is getting under way. Look for the girls to make a strong run in the Valley League. Come out and see the team as they travel to Ramona High School tonight, tip off is at 5:30 PM. Great job Knights!

The Knights Boys Basketball team has dominated on the court. With an overall record of seventeen wins and three losses, two wins and no losses in the Palomar League. The Knights rank third in the county and twenty eighth in the state. Behind the leadership of Jalen Williams averaging nineteen points per game, Mike Brown averaging seven rebounds per game and Richie Ramirez averaging 4 assists per game the Knights are poised for a strong run in league. Come out and support the Knights as host Westview High School on tonight at 7PM. Go Knights!

The Knights Girls Soccer team continues to be the gold standard in the county for girls soccer. The girls are ranked as the top Division one team in the county as seen on the CIF Power Rankings. With an overall record of eight wins, three losses and one tie the girls continue their winning ways. The ladies have started their Palomar League schedule with a win against Poway High School. Come out and see the girls compete as they host Westview High School on January twenty third, kick off is 6:00 PM. Go Knights!

Boys Soccer started Valley League play with a five to four win against Valley Center High School. They have a league record of one win, no losses and one tie. The Knights have played a tough non league schedule preparing them for league play. Come out and see the Knights as they host Ramona High School tonight. Kick off is at 6:00 PM. Good luck boys.

Girls Wrestling competed at San Dimas High School over the break and took sixth place out of seventy two teams. Brianna Rossa was named outstanding wrestler of the tournament placing first in her weight class. Jaala Degannes took first place in her weight class as well. January eleventh the girls competed at Jurupa Valley. Jaala Degannes was named outstanding wrestler of the tournament coming in first in her weight class. Diana Duarte and Nirvana Tapia also came in first place in their respective weight classes. Girls Wrestling hosted The Queen of the Realm wrestling tournament last weekend. Our girls had five champions, one runner up and one sixth place finisher. Jaala Degannes was named outstanding wrestler of the event. Great job ladies. Go Knights!

Over the Winter Break boys wrestling competed in two tournaments and one dual meet. January fourth the boys took third place at the Hilltop Duals. On January ninth the Knights wrestlers were dominate against cross town rival Mission Hills beating the Grizzlies sixty three to fourteen. This win improves our school record against Mission Hills to twenty wins and no losses. January eleventh the boys traveled to the San Clemente Tournament and had three individual placers. Gabe Durazo place first, Kevin Ramirez placed third and Endry Velasquez placed fourth. Great job boys. Go Knights.

Girls Water Polo has started the season strong with an overall record of nine wins and two losses. The Girls are poised to defend their Avocado league title from last year currently with an overall record of two wins and no losses. Come out to Palomar College as the girls Water Polo team competes against Oceanside High School on January twenty second. The match starts at 7:00 PM. Go Knights!

Cheer competed in the CIF Cheer Championships at Carlsbad High School before the break. The girls came in second place at the event. Thank you to the girls and coaches for representing San Marcos. Go Knights!
