WEEK 31
WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW FOR THIS WEEK
It is state testing week for juniors; see the image below for how this impacts students and their SWWC classes.
- Note that on Wednesday, April 10th no students should attend their Chelsea CTE class.
- All Chelsea students follow directives from CHS; all non-Chelsea students that take a class at Chelsea's CTE center should remain at their home school.
- Building Trades will run both AM and PM sessions. (updated on 4/8)
Many parts of the United States will observe a total solar eclipse on Monday, April 8th. While our area is outside of the path of totality, residents are expected to experience a partial eclipse (98.5%).
- More information on the eclipse, timeframe, and instructions to safely view the eclipse is available from NASA.
- Please be safe as you travel home from your afternoon classes.
Looking ahead...
Dexter has a half day on Friday, April 19th.
SWWC Engineering and Manufaturing classes visit Zoller in Ann Arbor!
Our Robotics, Computer Aided Design (CAD), and Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) classes spent Thursday touring Zoller in Ann Arbor. Thank you to Mr. Michael Stepke for organizing the visit. It was very valuable to hear from Zoller's partners and touring the six technology stations.
