GLOBE Update
New team members | Orientation Day reminder
Dear GLOBE community,
I trust you are enjoying the final week of summer break. Our staff have been busy making final preparations, and we are all so excited to meet our GLOBE families next week.
Firstly, I have the pleasure of introducing some new members of our leadership team. The new Assistant Head of School at Lower Campus, Kristen Karably, along with our two new Data Coaches, Erin Mayer and Joel Atchison. We are delighted to welcome them to GLOBE. You can read a little bit about them below. Please say "hi" if you happen to see them around campus.
Secondly, I would like to announce some new changes we are bringing to GLOBE's literacy program. Some of our teachers will be sampling units from various state approved literacy curriculums. Our two Curriculum and Instruction Coaches will be sharing more information at our Literacy Coffee Talk on August 22 at 8:30am. If you're unable to attend or watch the live stream, no worries, it will be recorded and sent out along with the slide deck.
Our first Weekly Newsletter of the new school year will be published on August 7, the first day of school. Please look out for a list of key dates and useful information as we start the new semester.
We look forward to a wonderful school year!
Sincerely,
Christi Elliott-Earby
Executive Director
