Welcome to Royal

We wanted to get some basic information out to you as soon as we had it so you can plan for next year. Below we have info on Arts Auditions and Sports Tryouts, Important dates for the beginning of the school year, and more.

As we get closer to summer, we will add information about Summer School options, what you will need for the 24-25 school year, and AP and Honors Summer Homework.

Important Dates

AUG 6- Senior Kickoff Day, 8-12

AUG 7- Junior Kickoff Day, 8-12

AUG 8- Sophomore Kickoff Day, 8-12

AUG 9- Freshman Orientation, 8am-3pm- You don't want to miss this!

AUG 12- Fall Athletics Parent Player Meeting, 6pm

AUG 15- First Day of School

Arts Audition Information

Dance, Instrumental Music, Marching Band, and Vocal Music will all have auditions in the Spring. See the button below for information.

Sports Tryout Information

-Coaches cannot contact incoming Freshman or transfer students until May 1.
Note: Sideline cheer and dance are not CIF sanctioned and therefore are exceptions to the May 1 rule.

-Incoming students cannot practice or do any activities with the new team until they have left the prior school (graduated, transferred, etc.)

-Dead Period June 10-23 (mandatory no practice period)- Take your vacations during this time!

-Summer School- Some of our teams offer summer classes/practices through Learn 4 Life. Ask the coach for details

Sports Tryouts

Leadership Application

Students who are interested in the Leadership Class at Royal must apply to the program. There are limited spaces in the class. Do you very best on the application because not all students will make it to the interviews.

Leadership Application- Fill this out and email it to Miss Myszkowski or drop off in the office.

Teacher Recommendation form- Email this doc to one of your teachers.
