Principal's Message
Tomorrow is Martin Luther King Jr. Day
Martin Luther King Jr. Day, observed on the third Monday of January, honors the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a pivotal leader in the American civil rights movement. This day commemorates his tireless efforts to end racial segregation and promote equality through nonviolent resistance. King's leadership and vision were instrumental in the passage of landmark legislation, such as the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965.
The significance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day extends beyond remembering King's contributions; it also serves as a national day of service. Many Americans participate in community service projects, reflecting King's belief in the power of collective action to bring about change. This aspect of the holiday encourages individuals to engage in activities that improve their communities and foster a spirit of unity and cooperation.
Thank you for supporting OUR student(s). Together, we can help to guide our students into being successful citizens in the world.

Picking Up and Dropping Off Students
As a safety reminder, when picking up or dropping off your student, please use our drop-off loop (the staff parking lot is not for student drop-off) and pull as far forward as possible when in line with your vehicle. This supports a smooth drop-off and pick-up process.
🚗 Parents should stay in their vehicles and pull up to the student drop-off zone during this time. Please do not leave a vehicle unattended in the drop-off loop at any time. If you need help, wave down a staff member and we will be happy to assist you. Thank you for doing your part to keep our students safe.
Additionally, please be sure that your students have the proper car seats, booster seats, or seatbelts as required by California State Law. Let us know if you need help or resources to keep your student safe. 💺✅
