Hall's Corner
May 17, 2024
Greetings
Dear Bruin Families and Students:
Springfest 2024 is May 24th! A Brighton tradition continues…
Due to Senior BASH the evening of Thursday, May 23rd, SENIORS ONLY do not need to report to school until 11:00 AM on Friday, May 24th, reporting to homeroom at that time.
Next week is Springfest, a fun filled BRUIN spirit week sponsored by our Executive Student Council. It is a time to celebrate, have fun, promote school spirit through dress theme days, and enjoy the Bruin culture right before final exams begin. Springfest culminates with a fun filled carnival atmosphere on Friday, May 24th. Students will follow a shortened schedule day in the morning and meet for all eight class periods, a cycle day 4. After period 8, students will be released to homeroom to VOTE for next year’s class council officers. Students will then view the faculty/student talent show from the auditorium or homeroom. After the talent show, students are released for an extended FLEX period for lunch, games, sports, arts and crafts, club booth market square area, ultimate frisbee, spike-ball, nitro-ball, gaming, music, movies, and more! Student may bring CASH with them to purchase PIZZA and drinks sponsored by the PTSA and other food/craft items from club booth areas. Our day will end with a pep assembly on the turf field. We will move the event indoors if we are expected to have rain.

Are you interested in learning about a different culture and way of life? For more than 30 years, Brighton has been the only district in our area to host language interns from other countries! The World Language Department at Brighton is currently looking for three host families for our interns for the 2024-25 academic school year, and we hope you will consider!
