Principal's Corner
Birchwood ABC Families,
I want to share with you some exciting news about our school. As the school year comes to a close, our campus will undergo some exciting changes. Starting the week of May 27th, our school will be undergoing construction to enhance our facilities and ensure a safer environment for our students and staff.
Here are the key improvements that will be made:
Secure Vestibule: We are implementing a secure vestibule at the main entrance to enhance our security measures. This will provide an added layer of safety by controlling access to the school building.
New Front Office: Our front office will be renovated to better serve our school community. The updated space will improve efficiency and create a welcoming environment for visitors and parents.
Nurse's Office Upgrade: The nurse's office will undergo renovations to provide a more comfortable and functional space for medical care and support for our students.
New Boiler Installation: We are installing a new boiler system to improve heating efficiency and ensure a comfortable learning environment for everyone.
When visiting our school before May 22, you may notice many boxes being packed. We kindly ask for your understanding as we prepare for construction to begin promptly after the students are released for summer. Thank you for your patience and support as we improve our school facilities for our students' benefit.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the construction process, please feel free to reach out to us. We value your partnership in creating a safe and conducive learning environment for our students.

XC Ski Club ShOuT OuT!
Thank you to the staff and parent volunteers who were able to assist with the after school ski club in many different roles. Ms Amanda, Ms Harmon, Kimberly Lents, Sarah Thompson, Karen Walter, Kyra Walter, and Waylon Olson.
Healthy Futures
March activity logs are due by April 5th to Mr. Olson or Ms. Rachel. This month we are doing a double prize, get those April activity logs filled out. [activitylog]

It's JOG-A-THON time and we would love your support! May 10th all of our students will run their hearts out for Birchwood ABC! If you haven't already, please take a moment and sign your student(s) up. It's super easy and every dollar counts, no donation is too small and $5 will get your student a pair of Limited Edition Birchwood ABC Sunglasses on the day of the run!

The Birchwood Advisory Committee needs NEW MEMBERS!
Get involved! Help maintain high academic standards and sustain the already proven outstanding ABC Curriculum.
Submit an application via email to bacbirchwood@gmail.com by April 10th.
Many different positions are available, but membership is not required to attend any meeting. All meetings are open for everyone.
Come to assist in highlighting and encouraging our values of leadership, citizenship, self-discipline, and character development.
