on Seventh Grade
Student Athletes
The student athletes of the seventh grade class have had success in their respective sports activities. Here are some recent highlights:
Bianca Pantoja earned several awards during one of her recent swim competitions:
1st Place - 50 Breaststroke;
2nd Place - 100 Individual Medley
2nd Place - 50 Backstroke
She obtained numerous medals and ribbons over the years competing in events including Zone 1 Pacific Swimming Championships and the Junior Olympics Swim Relay. She dreams of competing in the Olympics someday.
Esteban and Santiago Velasquez were the Bronze 1 bracket champions for the NorCal Premier Fall Soccer League U 13. Their team, the Falcons 07, is undefeated. They are First Place Champions!!
For Karate, Jadine Aguilar won two medals, silver and bronze, at the ISKF Nationals in Las Vegas, while her 8th grade brother, Joshua, won a silver.
Makayla Fong participated in the 2018-2019 State Championship Competition for gymnastics. She placed First on the balance beam, vault and all around. She placed Second on the uneven bars, and Fourth on floor. Great job, Makayla!
As part of a combined Holy Angels School 6th/7th grade team, Hope Malabed and Julia Yamsuan won First Place in the recent CYO Catholic Charities Volleyball Championship.
In soccer, the Brisbane Strikers won First Place in the Area 2B tournament against the Millbrae Traffic Cones. The final score was 2 to 1. Both David Gomez and Omar Gomez had the positions of attackers during the game! Great job boys!
Adriana Gonzalez and Xochil Gonzalez won their NorCal Premier Region 2 North, Silver U13 Fall Soccer League Championship. As part of the Thunder 07 Team, they won First Place!
