Happy Summertime Art Rutkin Ram Families,


We have had so much to celebrate during these last two weeks of school. Our staff is so proud of how much our students have accomplished. All of our classes finished strong through the last day today. The last two days have also been focused on celebrating our first ever 5th grade class. Mr. Middleton ran a great 5th grade promotion ceremony along with incredible support from our PSO. They also worked together to put on an awesome 5th Grade Fun Day here on campus. Students enjoyed time all to themselves in our east wing classrooms, the gym and outside. We are grateful for all their effort this year. We will all be excited to hear about their middle school successes during the years to come.

Our PSO executive board, committee chairs and volunteers were all amazing this year. We are all grateful for their partnership and support all year. Our PSO is supporting our effort to provide student classroom supplies again next school year. Our supply list will consist of only a small number of items again this fall. We will hope to receive most student school supplies from donations over the summer. Do you know a business or community partner organization that could help with school supply donations? Please have them contact me over the summer so I can share the details to see if this type of donation is right for them.


Art Rutkin Staff

Our staff will have a few changes for next year. We will look forward to sharing staffing changes in the fall when our office opens up on August 12th.


Art Rutkin’s First Year Is Complete!

We have a wonderful school community, and are extremely excited to be growing with it. Thank you to all of our families for your partnership and support. This has been a remarkable experience for students, staff and families. All of the success this year is a direct result from everyone contributing in large and small ways. It all added up to a successful 2023-2024 school year. There are no words to describe how much we appreciate our community. We wish all our students, staff and families a wonderful summer.

Health Room Medication = End of the year reminder

In an effort to prepare for the end of the school year, we are reminding parents to please pick up any medication that your student has in the health room. Medication will be kept for five days after the close of the school year. After June 21, 2024 medication will be discarded per district policy. Office hours are 7:30-3:30.

We have a few things in our lost and found. Feel free to stop by and look through it to see if you find anything that looks familiar! We're here 7:30-3:30 through June 21st. Anything unclaimed will be donated to the Caring Closet.

Quarter 4 Report Cards

Quarter 4 report cards will be uploaded into Parentvue on Tuesday, June 18th. Below is a reminder how to access the report cards. Please reach out to the office if you need assistance.


Instructions:

  1. Visit the TTSD ParentVue website: http://pvue.ttsd.k12.or.us
  2. Click "I am a parent"
  3. If you have more than one student, select the student you want to view from the top left menu.
  4. Click "Documents" in the left navigation
  5. Click on the report card you want to view.

The School Board approved the 2024-2025 school year calendar at the last board meeting. You can find the calendar here. The calendar is subject to change based on the outcome of the current labor negotiations. Adjustments may be made to the 2nd half of the school year.

Tigard Public Library Summer Reading Program

Readers of all ages can register for Tigard Public Library’s Summer Reading Program. Receive a free book at sign-up! Visit the library to learn more about the free events happening all summer long. Club K Before & Afterschool Care

Club K After School Zone is excited to continue providing child care services for the Art Rutkin families. Club K After School Zone is committed to excellence in care and has been providing before and after school child care programs, full day programs and summer camps since 2006. We offer a personal level of service and attention that enables us to provide positive outcomes for the students in our programs as well as meet the needs of today’s working families. Club K's Never Stop Exploring Summer Camp: Come join us for our “Choose Your Own Path” Summer Camp where choice and fun are our top priorities this summer! We will have a variety of activities ranging from Art, SEL, STEM, and Active games. Throughout the summer we will be traveling back in time, exploring all things STEM, discovering how Magic works, competing in the Olympics and so much more!
