NJSD Offers Free Identity Theft Protection
As part of its insurance package for all benefits-eligible employees (those on a 0.75 FTE+ schedule), the District provides Identity Protection coverage. To get yourself registered in the program, call 855-246-7347. You can also enroll in the program - at no cost to you - by visiting reliancestandard.com/infoarmor.
The District's carrier for this coverage is the Reliance Matrix Company. This coverage provides employees with $25,000 in fraud expense reimbursement, monitors the dark web for your personal data and provides you with a dedicated restoration specialist, if things go wrong.
Traveling this Summer?
As part of its insurance package for all benefits-eligible employees (those on a 0.75 FTE+ schedule), the District provides a travel assistance package. If you are 100 miles away from home and find yourself in need, this protection can help you! Whether you need help with an injury or illness, lost passport, luggage, a prescription refill, or lost eyeglasses, one call will secure the assistance you might need.
Call 800-456-3893 in the USA. Call collect when abroad to 603-328-1966. Either number is staffed 24/7, 365 days per year. The District's carrier for this coverage is the Reliance Matrix Company. You will need to confirm that you work for NJSD, and answer some basic questions to get the insurance company moving!
Navigate Wellness Deadline Reminders Before Summer
NJSD staff are reminded of the last benchmark that is also tied to the lower wellness premium rates. All employees on the district insurance must reach "Silver Status" on Navigate, which means earning a minimum of 500 points by August 31, 2024 in order to maintain or capture the lower premium rates. Spouses on the insurance plan are not required to do this step, however they do have access to Navigate and the resources it offers. There are a wide variety of ways to earn your 500 points under different pillars of wellness. Please note, anything that says "Complete This" needs to be self-reported in order to receive those points for completion.
Additionally, Navigate has updated their portal and app to have a Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). MFA adds an extra step beyond just entering a password by requiring an additional form of verification. This additional layer of security is designed to help safeguard employees’ accounts and ensure the utmost protection of sensitive information.
To properly complete this, here are detailed instructions on how you will set up MFA within the Navigate portal. Here you will also find user-friendly instructions that you may find useful from Sara Mercer. Should you encounter any issues, please reach out to the Navigate Customer Service Team at info@navigatewell.com or 888-282-0822.
NJSD Moving From EduCLIMBER to NextPath
Beginning in the 2024-25 school year, NJSD is moving away from EduCLIMBER and using NextPath.
- NextPath is created by the same founders of EduCLIMBER. The product has many exciting enhancements.
- All information from EduCLIMBER will be transferred over the summer.
- Admin, coaches and specialists have already had introductory trainings.
- All teachers will be provided "just-in-time" training (i.e. how to look at a class beginning of the year, after assessment windows and how to enter behavior data).

Health and Wellness Center Provides More on Anemia
From Prevea Nurse Practitioner Sarah Bleier, APNP, FNP-C
Last week we gave an overview of anemia and some of its possible symptoms. Let’s talk about some of the common types of anemia. Iron deficiency anemia is when your body does not have enough iron to make hemoglobin, which is the protein that oxygen attaches to for transport to the body’s tissues. This can cause fatigue, shortness of breath, and muscle weakness. Iron deficiency is common in those who menstruate, since they lose some blood each month. Click here to read more

Sharing or Transferring Your Google Drive Files
Are you retiring or otherwise leaving the District? Would you like to share or take with you resources you have created in your Google Drive?
As the school year comes to an end, there have been a number of questions about sharing resources with colleagues or transferring them to a different account to take with you. The Technology Department has put together directions to walk you through the process of how to share resources if you are leaving the District, as well as how to use Google Takeout to take resources with you. All of this information can be found in the NJSD Tech Resource Hub in Canvas or by clicking on the following links.
