January brings with it winter weather. Our students will go outside for recess unless the temperature is below 32 degrees. Of course, wind chill factor is always considered. Everyone should be prepared with a coat, hat, and mittens/gloves as needed. Please label all items. There are many things left in the Lost & Found daily.

In case of inclement weather that requires us to close school, we follow the Moorestown Township Public School District's decision for closing. If they are closed we will close. Notices will be posted on OLGC social media, the school website, and you will receive an email. Teachers will also update their websites or Google Classroom announcements. Teachers who use Class Dojo or Remind will also send messages through those programs.

If any other adjustment is made to our daily schedule you will also be notified of that. This includes a delayed opening or early dismissal. Our Moorestown families should also receive communication from the school district's transportation department if there is a change to your schedule.

Fall school picture retakes will be taken on Tuesday, January 14th .

Any student who was absent for fall photos, or whose parents wish to have photos retaken, should be prepared for photos that day. Those children in grades PK3 - 8th grade who were absent on November 12 will have photos taken for records and yearbook whether parents are purchasing prints or not. Standard school uniforms are worn for these photos.

All 8th graders will have their portrait taken on Tuesday, January 14th. Mrs. Burnham will share dress code information with students.

OLGC School will be OPEN on Monday, January 20 for the annual Day of Service in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
